Tomorrow's opponents are Aston Ingham. They are a club that we have not played before this season, we visited their lovely home situated close the Gloucestershire border a few weeks ago and a lovely day was had by all.
The small village is nestled amongst rolling woodlands and rising hills. In the distance we were able to see the Mavlerns, the Black Mountains as well as the Brecon Beacons - thank goodness for the nice weather!
Earlier this year, Aston Ingham Bowls Club were lucky enough to be able to purchase the freehold to the club; this means, amongst other things, that the long-term future of their home is now secure, meaning they can start on the improvements that they want to make.
Their members come from both counties, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, and as a 'small and friendly club' they welcome members of any age and background to join.
We look forward to welcoming them to Bromyard tomorrow.
