We arrived at Tenbury to be greeted with the sun shining and the birds tweeting, the moodm had already been set.
After a little confusion, the captains had sorted out the teams and Tenbury's captain was welcoming captain Ellis and his team from Bromyard.
The game started and Bromyard were off to a flying start; every rink won their opening end - apparently this was a sign of kindness from the opposition!
The game continued at what appeared to be a fast rate - time flies when you're having fun. Each rink's score was close, which made the game more intense.
We had two new members playing today, they looked to be thoroughly enjoying their first grass outing! They played frequent excellent woods and joined in the gossip.
Yet again, I don't have the final scores to hand, but if I recall correctly, it was 50/50 game; 2 winners and 2 losers.
Refreshments were awaiting us as we went into the club house, and the platter of sandwiches looked divine! Also on offer were cake, crisps and home grown tomatoes -yum! Everything was washed down with a good old English brew.
See you all next Tuesday at 6pm
