Bromyard's Secondary School under military control

The Central Band of the Royal Air Force performed at the Queen Elizabeth Humanities College on Monday.  Assistant headteacher David Kemp said it was an amazing experience for both staff and students.  The performance, which included pieces such as The Simpsons theme tune and Abba favourites, lasted an hour.

Assistant Headteacher Mr Kemp, added: "Occasionally a few band members will perform at various schools but it is very unusual for the whole band of about 30 musicians to perform together.
"We've been trying to arrange it for a few years now after the grandfather of one of our students said he may be able to put us in touch with the band. It was tricky to organise but it was well worth the wait.
"About half a dozen students played with the band and they did very well."

The concert was also attended by pupils and staff from other local schools and even some Bromyard Bowlers.
