Saturday - our open day

Despite the touch-and-go weather we'd been experiencing, on Saturday afternoon the sun shone (mostly) and accompanied by a breeze meant there was no rain for our annual open day.

From 2pm we welcomed potential bowlers who thought they might be interested in playing bowls with us here at Bromyard.

Our friendly members gently eased newcomers into the game with chitchat, a cup of tea and slice of cake.

Those who were keen enough can now attend a series of follow up days, each held on the next four Fridays - 15th, 22nd, 29th, 5th.

This was also an opportunity for people to try out our new green, some of which had not played on it much, if at all, beforehand. Sometime of the next couple of weeks we'll be posting some photos of our works which took place last year.
