Looking for something to do?

If you're looking for a bit of entertainment or just something to do over the next few months, take a look at these upcoming events:

Saturday 19th October at Stoke Lacy Village Hall, go and join them for their regular h.Energy event including a breakfast, local fresh produce, apple juicing and a raffle. Entry is free and breakfasts are thought to be £6 (a generous full English may I add).

Sunday 20th October there's a Comedy Night, the second to be held at Hereford United's Starlite Rooms. After a successful launch last month, MC Ryan Gough returns with four more top acts for the bargain price of £10. Monday 21st October is the date of the Bromyard tractor Trip to the Houses of Parliment by kind invitation of Bill Wiggin MP. There are still a few seats left, so for more information and to book tickets, call 01886 853680.


Friday 25th October sees a Tribute to Meatloaf to be held at Hereford United's Starlite RoomsThe night features Harry J Lewis - back by popular demand - as the singer, with support from duo Bright Ideas. Tickets are £20, including food, with booking in advance highly recommended. To book tickets or to find out more information, please call 08442 76 1939. 

Friday 1st November means the second Mod Nite at Hereford United's Starlite Rooms takes place, with the Jam DRC returning after their phenomenal debut at the first Mod night back, in the summer. DJs Moon on a Stick and Gary Newman will also be providing a Northern Soul disco around the live music. Saturday 2nd November is the night that the Shrewsbury Male Voice Choir are coming to St. Peter's Church, Bromyard. The event is scheduled to start at 7pm with tickets being £12 and obtainable by calling 01885 482926/482226/483762. It's all in aid of St. Andrew's Church, Bredenbury.

Saturday 9th November there's a Poppy Dinner at the Public Hall, Bromyard. Tickets are £10 a head for dinner and entertainment. Please call Peder Nielsen on 07810 444842.

Saturday 16th NovemberBromyard Methodist Church are holding a Table Top Sale in aid of the Church. It's taking place between 10am and 12am. For enquiries please call Mrs. Lloyd on 01885 482669.

Also on Saturday 16th November, it'st he day of Bromyard Brownie Bingo (not the tasty sort of Brownie though). It's at the Public Hall in Bromyard and eyes down at 7.30pm prompt. Further details can be obtained by calling 01885 488185.

Friday 29th November there's a Black Country Night at Stoke Lacy Village Hall with Bev Pegg a vocalist, guitarist and comedian. Tickets are £10.00 and include a meal (but please bring your own drinks). For information on how to book tickets, please contact us here at BromyardBowls.
